About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The CNR-IRPPS Working Papers series publishes the results of studies and research in the following fields:


  • migration and welfare;
  • gender and family studies
  • new information and communications technology.

Project description and the results of research in progress are accorded ample coverage, with a slant on work undertaken by young academics or interns, who are given the opportunity to publish their results and studies.

Peer Review Process

The CNR-IRPPS Working Papers series is subject to an internal review procedure.
The WP is sent from the Editorial commitee to the internal reviewers and is published as a result of their positive opinion.

Publication Frequency

The CNR-IRPPS Working Papers series will meet the needs of the internal scientific community and will not be published at regular intervals (approx. 8 issues per year).

Open Access Policy

Access to the digital edition (PDF format) are established together with the authors, reconciling the preservation of their rights and their pubblications with the dissemination of research results according to Open Access principles.

We encourage readers to sign up for the publishing notification service for CNR-IRPPS Working Papers. Use the Register link at the top of the homepage for the journal. This registration will guarantee the reader receives the Table of Contents by email for each new issue of the CNR-IRPPS Working Papers.
